Code of Ethics

My work is guided by respect, integrity, responsibility, and care for the individual.

Nature of the Work

I offer spiritual counseling and one-to-one sessions informed by principles of Tibetan Medicine. The work is intended to support self-awareness, meaning-making, balance, and personal insight. It is not medical treatment, psychotherapy, or psychological counseling, and it does not replace professional healthcare.

No diagnosis is made, and no medical, psychological, or spiritual outcomes are guaranteed.

Informed Consent

Clients are informed in advance about the nature and scope of the sessions and give informed consent before participating. Participation is voluntary, and clients may pause or end a session at any time.

Client Autonomy and Responsibility

Clients are respected as autonomous individuals. Spiritual counseling supports reflection and exploration; it does not provide directives, predictions, or instructions for life decisions. Responsibility for personal choices remains with the client.

Professional Boundaries

Sessions are conducted in a professional, respectful, and grounded manner. Clients remain fully clothed. Any physical contact—when applicable and relevant to Tibetan Medicine–informed practices—is explained beforehand and occurs only with explicit consent. Client comfort and safety are always prioritized.

Confidentiality

All information shared during sessions is treated as confidential and handled with care, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent serious harm.

Scope of Practice

Spiritual counseling focuses on meaning, values, inner orientation, and personal development. Tibetan Medicine–informed practices are offered as complementary methods to support balance and self-regulation. Neither modality is presented as curative or diagnostic.

Non-Imposition of Beliefs

Clients are met without judgment. No belief system, spiritual framework, or worldview is imposed. Language and practices are adapted to the client’s background and comfort.

Limits and Referrals

I remain attentive to the limits of my role. If a client’s needs fall outside the scope of spiritual counseling or complementary practices, I may recommend seeking medical, psychological, or therapeutic support elsewhere.

Professional Integrity

I commit to ongoing learning, self-reflection, and ethical responsibility. I practice with clarity, honesty, and respect for both the client and the traditions informing the work.
